Extended Learning Program (XLP)

Mid-Pacific's Global Exchange Academy Extended Learning Program (XLP) offers a selection of courses designed to provide meaningful, deeper learning experiences for students from preschool to grade 12 as well as programs for adults.

After School Care (ASC)

Our ASC program, available for Preschool through grade 5, offers a safe and engaging environment daily from dismissal until 5:30 p.m. on regular, full-school days. Enrich your child's after-school hours!

Registration for ASC for the 2024-25 school year opens on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The registration link can be found on myPueo - select the 'Resources' tab and navigate to the GlobalXLP Registration Portal.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy

We understand that there may be situations that warrant the need to cancel classes or programs. The following refund policy schedule applies when students withdraw from any course, unless otherwise noted. Refunds are based on the date when the GlobalX Office receives written notification from parent/guardian(s) for withdrawal.

Course changes initiated by a student or parent/guardian will incur a service fee of $40 per class. Changes must be requested using the change form.

After School Care (ASC):

Cancellation requests received 12 business days before the program start date will receive a full refund minus the $40.00 processing fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for refund processing.
For requests received within 12 business days of the program start date, our refund policy will be as follows:
- Refunds will be processed by the registered month; unused individual days in a month will not be refunded.
- ASC cancellation during GXLP may increase the GXLP class cost.
By canceling ASC, you forfeit your spot, and should you like to register again for ASC, your child may be placed on a waitlist.

GlobalXLP Classes:

Pick Up and Drop Off

Students in PS GlobalXLP classes must be picked up directly after their classes unless they are enrolled in ASC.
Mid-Pacific students in grades K-5 enrolled in GlobalXLP classes will automatically be enrolled in ASC on the day of their class.
Following their class, GlobalXLP teachers will escort their students to ASC.
When picking up your student, please use the provided URL link to alert the ASC team that you are on or near campus. Authorized pick ups are asked to park their car in the ES circle or marked parking stall, walk to the ES main gate just left of the elementary office, and wait for their student. This URL link should only be shared with those who are authorized to pick up your student. View the Check-Out Guide.
Preschool/Elementary GlobalXLP Pick Up: At Elementary School Upper Auto Line
Middle/High School GlobalXLP Pickup: Arrange with your student.
Late Pick Up: Students in the After School Care program during the academic year, must be picked up by 5:30 PM. A late fee of $15.00 for the first 15 minutes (or portion of) and $5.00 for every additional minute thereafter will be charged if a student is picked up after 5:30 PM. Parents/Authorized persons picking up close to, at, or after 5:30 PM will be prompted to check out their child again upon receiving their child to document that supervision is concluded.
Authorized Pick Up: Only individuals listed on the authorized pick up list will be allowed to pick up a student. To ensure a smooth process for ASC, kindly update your Authorized Pick Up and Emergency information on the Authorized Pick Up Form located on myPueo.
