Shaping the Future: AI Council Presents at National Conference
Mid-Pacific Communications Staff

At Deeper Learning 2025 in San Diego, members of the Mid-Pacific AI Council—Natasha S. ’25, Minhee K. ’27, John Nash, Brian Grantham, and Danelle Landgraf—took the stage to present their groundbreaking work on “AI for Inclusion.”

Their session explored how artificial intelligence can support multilingual learners, neurodivergent students, and a broad spectrum of learning needs. With students leading the conversation, the presentation highlighted the power of empathy, clarity, and thoughtful design in AI-supported learning environments. Natasha and Minhee shared how AI tools assist in interpreting teacher instructions and meeting diverse learning needs, while Dr. John Nash emphasized the importance of a human-centered approach—reminding us that AI should inform, not replace, human judgment.

This powerful presentation reflected the heart of Deeper Learning: transforming education through student voice, innovation, and purpose. We’re proud of our AI Council for showing how technology, guided by empathy, can build a more inclusive future for all learners.
