As part of the MPX10 Humanities course, which focuses on a deep dive into government and leadership, the MPX 10 students are exploring “How do we build community?”. They visited Honolulu Hale last Thursday and met with three Mid-Pacific alumni and members of the City Council: Scott Nishimoto ’92, Matt Weyer ’06, and Radiant Cordero ’08 to learn more about the work the City Council is doing for Honolulu.

“As proud Mid-Pacific alumni, Councilmember Radiant Cordero ’08, Councilmember Matt Weyer ’06 and I were delighted to welcome Mr. Porter’s 10th grade class to Honolulu Hale,” said Councilmember Scott Nishimoto ’92. “It was great to talk story with the students about our work here at the City Council and answer their thoughtful questions about City government, our backgrounds in public service, and reminisce about our days as Mid-Pacific students.”
