Mid-Pacific Esports Team Victorious Fours Years in a Row

A big congratulations to our Overwatch 2 - Owls White esports team for winning their fourth consecutive championship title at the Vanta Fall Esports Championships last month. It was truly a team effort by the seniors, Cayden K., Kyler L., Tyler M., Sean I., and Allen O, and junior, Noah C., due to their constant communication and collaboration. Coach Danelle Landgraf, Head of Mid-Pacific’s Technology and Engineering Department, started the Mid-Pacific esports program five years ago, which has become extremely popular among students fostering strategic thinking and teamwork similar to traditional sports. Esports also provides opportunities for scholarships, allowing students to leverage their gaming skills for academic advancement.
