HI Now Daily Spotlight on 6th Grade

Honolulu, Hawai‘i — HI Now Daily’s Kainoa Carlson visited campus last week to spotlight our unique 6th grade program as a starting point for the middle school journey. Our 6th grade teachers—Mr. O’Connell, Mr. Jinbo, and Mr. Hu—and students—Eli L., Meyer C., and Luna S.—shared the interdisciplinary project-based learning educational framework, our focus on whole-child development and Social Emotional Learning, as well as our Exploratory Wheel that helps students find their passions and pursue those interests in their educational pathways throughout middle and high school.
