Dancers from the Mid-Pacific School of the Arts (MPSA) offered a glimpse of their exciting fall dance piece, arranged by guest choreographer Gregory Lau. Greg was excited to serve as this year’s guest artist, with fond memories of collaborating with guest choreographers during his time in the MPSA program.

“Mr. Paul Maley, the head of the Mid-Pacific dance program, brought global choreographers and teachers into MPSA, creating an invaluable experience as a young artist. Being in the dance program and learning repertoire from international choreographers built a bridge from studio to profession. To have direct experience of that work in a nurturing environment ignited an engine to want to realize that potential,” said Lau.

Gregory conducted auditions and selected fourteen MPSA students to participate in a new piece he crafted exclusively for the upcoming concert in November. Last week, Gregory and our skilled artists provided a sneak peek into their fantastic fall dance concert piece.
