Back-to-back champion! Congratulations to Destiny L. ’26 on being named the 2024-25 Gatorade Hawaii Girls Track & Field Player of the Year — for the second year in a row!
This prestigious national honor recognizes the country’s top high school athletes for excellence in athletics, academics, and character — and Destiny continues to shine.
Destiny dominated this season with three state titles — 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and long jump — and placed in five individual events, helping lead the Owls to a third-place finish at states. She also set personal records in the long jump (18'7.75") and high jump (5'7"), and clocked a PR of 42.28 in the 300 hurdles at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational.
