Honolulu, Hawai‘i — Mid-Pacific middle schoolers gathered for Jam Day, a tradition focused on building community and making connections beyond grade levels. Students joined workshops that mixed 6th–8th graders, creating opportunities to meet new classmates and connect with teachers outside of their regular routines.

Workshops encouraged students to explore shared interests or try something new, helping them step outside their comfort zones. By the end of the day, they had not only discovered new activities but also strengthened friendships and built a greater sense of belonging in our middle school community.
