Accreditation is a process of intensive formal self-study by the members of the school community with findings validated by an external group of educators who deem that the school has satisfactorily met all standards in areas of mission, educational program, governance, human resources, facilities, operations, and financial sustainability. Mid-Pacific's 2022 Self-Study is the result of a year-long process undertaken by over one hundred representatives from the faculty, staff, administration, parents, alumni, and trustees. Accreditation status -- a period of validation up to seven years -- will be determined by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in conjunction with the Hawaiʻi Association of Independent Schools (HAIS). We take pride in the efforts and accomplishments of Mid-Pacific since the last accreditation in 2015 and look forward to the many exciting, innovative developments ahead.
