Rebecca Hodge Joins Mid-Pacific as Assistant Principal for Student Life

Mid-Pacific Institute is pleased to welcome Rebecca Hodge as Assistant Principal for Student Life. In this role, Hodge will assist in developing and implementing the overall school program and managing the grades 6-12 faculty, student body, and staff, ensuring that Mid-Pacific's mission and instructional philosophies are consistent and in alignment with 6-12 programs, policies, and practices. She will have agency in all aspects of students' Mid-Pacific experience in grades 6-12, including athletics, academics, student activities, discipline, and social-emotional learning.

An educational leader, Hodge has 12 years of experience in the field of education and has held many diverse roles, such as teacher, teacher leader, grade level chair, director, and robotics coach.

"I am excited that Rebecca will join the middle and high school administrative team next year," says Mid-Pacific Middle and High School Principal, Dee Priester. "She will bring a welcomed enthusiasm, fresh perspective, and a passion for learning."

Hodge holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan. In 2015, Hodge received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Hawaii State Teachers Association and the Mayor's Award of Recognition for significant contributions to children in Central Oahu.
