Mid-Pacific congratulates the 15 students who placed artwork in the 57th Annual Hawai'i Regional Scholastic Art Awards. These students submitted more winning entries than in any past year, according to the Mid-Pacific School of the Arts Visual/Digital Arts Program Head Jill Johnson.

Five students were honored with prestigious Gold Key Awards. Two students received Silver Key Awards.

"Congratulations, Mid-Pacific high school artists," Johnson said. "Your unique, expressive, and technically strong artworks have been recognized across the state of Hawai'i. Among thousands of entries, these students have submitted more winning entries than in any past year here at Mid-Pacific. Congratulations, students, on being brave and bold, and having your work exhibited at the Hawai'i State Art Museum!"

Earning these accolades -- whether it is an "Honorable Mention" "Gold Key" or "Silver Key" award -- is a significant accomplishment to be mentioned on student college applications, or in demonstrating community leadership, Johnson said.

The exhibit closes Sunday, March 15!
