Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair

Congratulations to Mid Pacific Middle School eighth graders Mikayla Peterson, Jackson Morrice, Brandon Lum and Kaci Muromoto, who represented their school in fine form at the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair.

"Mahalo for all the support and allowing us to participate in this amazing event," teacher Nathan Javellana said.

Brandon Lum
• Certificate and Medallion from the Office of Naval Research.
• Second Place Overall for the Junior Division in the Category of Energy and Physics.

Kaci Muromoto
• Third Place and $25 from the American Chemical Society.
• Broadon Master Middles School Award Nominee to Compete in Arizona.
• Queens Medical Systems Scholarship award and $500.
• First Place overal in the Junior Division in Biochemistry.

Nathan Javellana
• Queen's Health Systems Junior Biochemical Science $500 Teacher Award.
