Welcoming 2023 with hopes for a bright year filled with more learning adventures, deepening friendships, and a stronger school community! In the quiet moments once the fireworks subside, I will be reflecting on the past semester and the promise of the unexpected joys yet to come. From deep within comes the resolve we all have to care for our families, the communities in which we participate and are committed to, and to live fully.

Students, faculty, and staff will return to freshly-cleaned facilities. The maintenance and grounds crews have been working steadily to complete a long list of tasks, including shiny waxed floors, carpet cleaning, and gleaming windows.

The preschool and elementary faculty appreciate everything the maintenance and grounds crews do to keep our facilities well maintained and safe. Every year we bring the crews together for a simple bento lunch and desserts. Here are most of the staff enjoying their break together on December 28th.

The faculty will be prepping for the semester on January 3rd. We will be ready for our students on January 4th. Regular schedule including afterschool care for children enrolled in the program. Thereʻs also free dress on the first Friday of January, the 6th, which also happens to be the 12th day of Christmas and Epiphany Day. Thank you, families, for the sweet treats you gifted the faculty and staff. I look forward to seeing our students bright and early in morning autoline! Hauoli Makahiki Hou 2023!

E Kūlia Kākou! Letʻs strive and aspire together!

For our children,

Edna L. Hussey, Ed.D.
