If youʻre reading my blog and the reminders in the newsletter, youʻre starting the school year on the right foot. Keep reading! Each Sunday all Mid-Pacific families receive this newsletter with information, reminders, updates relevant to the studentʻs school divison. This is the BEST way for you to keep up.

A warm welcome to the new school year and many noticeable changes -- plexiglass dividers from classrooms have been removed, dining room tables that were placed in classrooms to provide more table space due to Covid safety protocols have been returned to the dining room, a temporary wall installed in the dining room was removed. The campus is springing to life again after a weeklong break following summer camp. Classrooms feel spacious and more inviting. Teachers are on and off campus this week to prep their classrooms, like Multiage 3-4 teacher Casey Link (pictured here) who just got his room set up and has begun planning for the learning adventures ahead.

Alert: Your child will be receiving a welcome letter from me and your childʻs classroom teacher next week. The letter will come to your child via the US mail service. Let your child be the person to open the envelope and read the letter! Assist with the reading, if needed.

Thereʻs still time for the beach, picnics, a museum visit, ball games, watermelon, and rainbow shave ice!

E Kūlia Kākou! Letʻs strive and aspire together!

for our children,

Edna L. Hussey, EdD
