As a principal, I am gifted with countless opportunities to inspire, empower, and shape lifelong learners who will make a difference in the world. At Mid-Pacific, I am fortunate to be surrounded by educators who embrace this philosophy. Our faculty and staff at Mid-Pacific work tirelessly to ensure that each student's educational experience is meaningful. Their focus is not only on the core curriculum but also on those life skills essential for college and beyond.
Our elementary, middle, and high school faculty recently spent a Professional Learning Day preparing for the 2022-2023 academic year. Having transitioned from the traditional framework of focusing squarely on designing content, our efforts were committed to building a shared understanding of skills, habits and dispositions, vision, and building a community of learners. We acknowledge the necessity of developing a well-defined and articulated curriculum. At the same time, we clearly know that without a well-established community of student-centered educators working together, meaningful learning for our children will be stifled.
With the support and encouragement of our committed faculty, staff, and administration, our students are on a path to a bright academic year.
