Athletics at Mid-Pacific

Owls thrive on the field and in the classroom. We prepare students for competition and for life.

The Mid-Pacific athletic program is purposefully designed to complement academics and honor each student’s interests and commitments. The program is intentionally inclusive to support students’ personal and physical growth as well-rounded citizens, while also building a foundation in teamwork and leadership, and offering pathways for those seeking to compete in collegiate and professional sports.

A young male volleyball player in a green jersey with the number 21 jumps to hit the ball over the net, with another player in the foreground and a blurred background of bleachers.
A smiling softball player in a white uniform with pink gloves gives a high-five in the foreground, while a blurred green fence and trees form the background.
Three water polo players are in the foreground, with one holding a yellow ball above his head, while spectators are visible in the blurred background.
A group of jubilant female soccer players in white uniforms celebrate on a grassy field with blurred spectators in the background.
A young wrestler in a black singlet crouches on a dark stage with a black background.
A woman in a green top paddles a white kayak in the foreground, with cars parked along a waterfront in the blurred background.
A young basketball player in a white and green jersey dribbles the ball on a polished wooden court, with spectators in the bleachers behind him.

We have a very strong culture of supporting student-athletes at Mid-Pacific, as more than 66 percent of our students participate in at least one team throughout the year.

We offer an extensive athletic program, supporting 43 varsity teams in 21 different sports. Throughout the year we are proud to field more than 100 teams, and offer interscholastic opportunities to students beginning in Grade 4. Mid-Pacific competes in the ILH (Interscholastic League of Honolulu) conference, and is a member of the HHSAA (Hawai‘i High Schools Athletic Association).
