Class Giving
Reunion Class Giving
Reunion classes honor a tradition of giving back to Mid-Pacific in their class name. Many graduates appreciate the foundation of support and formed-friendships dating back to their days on campus. Students today are getting that same foundation but in a much different world. Tuition covers over 80% of the school's annual budget and the remaining is raised through philanthropic support. Participating in your reunion class gift is a great way to support the next generation of alumni.
Below are a few options to support:
- Mid-Pacific Fund
One of the most common ways to give back is by donating to the Mid-Pacific (Annual) Fund. Every year, the school raises money through this fund to support the direct costs of educating today's students. - MPIAA
The Mid-Pacific Institute Alumni Association is committed to supporting the school, while perpetuating positive and lasting relationships among the alumni. Donations to the MPIAA directly support student Legacy Scholarships, Owls for Owls Grants and MPIAA-sponsored student activities. - Endowed Fund
There are a number of endowed funds that support specific programs, scholarships or the school's greatest needs. If contributing to an endowed fund, please indicate which specific fund you wish to support. If no specific endowed fund is named, your donation will go toward the school's unrestricted endowment which will support Mid-Pacific's greatest needs. Contact the Alumni Office at (808) 973-5007 at for questions about endowments.
The reunion class gift is simply a tally of all cash/check/credit card donations made to Mid-Pacific within the fiscal year (August 1 to July 31). At the end of each fiscal year, the school will publicly report alumni giving* by class year, in terms of participation (%) and amount given ($).
Thank you for considering a donation to Mid-Pacific. Go Owls!
*Mid-Pacific will NOT disclose the amount each person has donated, unless given permission by the donor.
10 for 10 Challenge
This annual initiative, started by you as seniors, is designed to inspire a spirit of giving back, a longstanding tradition at Mid-Pacific. As seniors, you were encouraged to pledge $10 per year for 10 years toward your class endowment in this 10 for 10 Challenge. Thank you for representing your class, and for leaving your legacy at Mid-Pacific. By continuing to support your Class Endowment Fund, you are truly making a difference in the lives of future Mid-Pacific students.
