Middle School

Our curriculum is guided and continually renewed by the question, “What knowledge, skills, and dispositions are most relevant and use for our students today and in the future?” Mid-Pacific teachers are trained in and practice assessment for learning. Middle School teachers use a wide variety of teaching and measurement tools to identify student needs and move each individual student from one level to the next in their learning.

The middle school program goes beyond academic subjects and focuses on social-emotional awareness, effective communication, collaboration, fostering a positive mindset, and instilling the value of persistent learning. By incorporating these elements, Mid-Pacific provides a well-rounded experience that prepares students for success in both their academic and personal lives.

Mid-Pacific students create, perform, inform, and serve. Whether through our unique Mid-Pacific School of the Arts certificate programs or culminating “Celebrations of Learning” in their core academic work, our students are prepared to share what they have learned with authentic audiences, reinforcing the value of their learning and providing greater motivation to make their work meaningful. Through myriad leadership, athletics, and club opportunities, our students are active in their communities providing much needed service and care to others.
