Growth in Progress: My Final Semester as a Student Teacher

Happy New Year!

Aloha parents and guardians of Noio room 3! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. Just as a reintroduction, I’m Ms. Abby, the student teacher in your students’ classroom. Unlike last semester where I was in the classroom two days a week, I will be present everyday as I am starting my last semester as a full time student teacher. I’ll be playing a bigger part in your child’s education as the semester goes on. A snapshot into what I’ll be responsible for are half-day solos and full day solos. I will also be responsible for completing a full 15 days of solo teaching with the guidance of Ms. Holzman. During those times, I will be leading instruction to the best of my ability, making sure children are heard and are fully engaged with the content. I look forward to the rest of the school year and wish all of you the best!
