Sending Off Our Kindergartners with Aloha
In recent weeks, our school has been buzzing with excitement as we celebrated the culmination of another year of growth and learning for our students. It’s been a time of both celebration and contemplation as we reflected on the progress our students have made, not just academically, but also socially. It was particularly touching to hear them express their love for Mid-Pacific and their enjoyment of various subjects and activities.
One highlight of the semester was the confidence with which all 18 children read their 2 Stars and A Wish, where they shared what they were proud of and what they hoped to improve upon. It was remarkable to see how many of their wishes had already started to come true in just a few short weeks, as they became more proficient in reading, writing, and math. It was clear that their progress was due in large part to the dedication and support of our incredible team of Kindergarten Team members, specialists, and parents.
As we prepare to say Aloha ʻoe to our Elepaiʻo Room 6 students and send them off to first grade, we are filled with gratitude for the role that each and every member of our community has played in helping them to soar. Mahalo nui, parents, for your unwavering support and partnership throughout this journey. We can't wait to see what the future holds for these amazing children!
