EdFuture Summit

The EdFuture Summit is an annual two-day summer summit where education, industry, and community come together to shape the future of learning with AI.

AI is reshaping how we teach, how we work, and how our communities function. The people navigating that change in schools, organizations, and industries are often doing it without enough time, support, or connection to others facing the same challenges. This summit creates that space. For two days, the people closest to this work come together to share what they’re learning, dig into what's working and what's not, and leave better equipped to lead this work.

At the center of this work are the learners. Students who will need to be highly adaptable, compassionate, and connected to the world around them. Preparing them for that future takes educators who understand how AI changes what’s possible in the classroom, technologists who can bring practical tools into real learning environments, and community partners who see how education connects to the broader challenges we face.

Day 1: AI in Community brings together industry leaders, educators, and community partners to build a shared understanding of the current landscape.

Day 2: AI in Education focuses on the classroom and the practical, ethical, and strategic questions educators are navigating.

The EdFuture Summit is guided by Mid-Pacific Institute’s AI Advisory Council: a team of leaders from education, technology, business, and community organizations. Now in its third year, the council brings these perspectives into the conversation about how AI is changing the way we teach, learn, and work. Council members lead discussions, deliver keynote presentations, and facilitate collaborative sessions throughout both days. The council is in the room with the summit participants, working through the same questions.
