EdFuture Summit

Who is this for?

This summit is designed for the people closest to the work and we’ve built each session with them in mind. We welcome individuals and teams of 3-5 from schools, organizations, and community partners with representation from three areas:

Leadership: Heads of School, Principals, Department Heads, VPs, Directors, and Specialists. The people who set direction and carry the weight of institutional organization and change.

Technology: EdTech Directors, Instructional Technologists, and industry professionals and community partners working at the real intersection of AI and practice.

Teaching and Learning: Curriculum Leads, Instructional Coaches, Learning Specialists and Teachers who are reshaping what teaching and learning look like in an AI-integrated world.

Bring Your Champion for Change: You likely have someone on your team who is already moving the work forward. A colleague who redesigned a key process with AI and now coaches others to do the same. A leader who models AI use in their own practice and brings it into team conversations. That person's credibility and experience is what turns awareness into action.

We invite you to bring your Champion for Change. There will be dedicated sessions on both days of the summit for them to share what they’re doing, how they’re doing it, and what they’ve learned with the room.

Coming with team members is encouraged. It’s how you leave with a shared vision and greater support. All roles are welcome individually as well.

Day 1: AI in Community
July 21, 2026
8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

How is AI reshaping work, decision-making, and community life? Day 1 brings together industry leaders, educators, and community partners to build a shared understanding of the current landscape.

Sessions include: AI Industry Panel, Interactive Agentic AI, Case Studies, and Champion Presentations.

Day 2: AI in Education
July 22, 2026
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What does AI mean for teaching, learning, and the decisions schools face right now? Day 2 focuses on the classroom and the practical, ethical, and strategic questions educators are navigating.

Sessions include: Keynote, Hands-On Prototyping with AI Tools, Higher Education Panel, Champion Presentations, and Structured Reflection.

The EdFuture Summit is guided by Mid-Pacific Institute’s AI Advisory Council: a group of leaders from education, technology, business, and community organizations. Now in its third year, the council brings these perspectives into the conversation about how AI is changing the way we teach, learn, and work. Council members lead discussions, deliver keynote presentations, and facilitate collaborative sessions throughout both days. They’re in the room with you, working through the same questions.

What is included in registration?
Registration includes access to all sessions for the day(s) you register for and lunch. Materials and resources shared during sessions will be available digitally after the Summit.

Do I need to attend with a team?
Teams of 3–5 are encouraged because it's easier to carry momentum back to your organization when you’ve shared the experience. That said, individuals are welcome. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to connect with others in similar roles.

I am a parent or alumni. Can I attend?
Yes. While the Summit is designed for educators, technologists, and community partners working at the intersection of AI and learning, parents and alumni with a relevant connection to this work are welcome to register.

Is this appropriate for someone new to AI?
Yes. Sessions are designed for people at different stages of the work. Whether you’re exploring what AI means for your organization or already integrating it into daily practice, you will find relevant content and conversations.

What does a Champion for Change session look like?
Champions share their work, their process, and what they’ve learned through short presentations and peer exchange.

Does my Champion need to prepare a presentation in advance?
Champions should be ready to share their experience in a brief, informal format. We’ll provide guidance closer to the event so they know what to expect.

Can I pay by invoice?
Yes. Our registration platform accepts both credit card and invoice. If your school or organization requires a purchase order or institutional payment process, the invoice option is available at checkout.
