Community and Belonging

Mid-Pacific is an educational community that embraces inclusion and honors the dignity of every human being.

We honor our place, the land of Papahānaumoku in the ahupua‘a of Waikīkī, moku of Kona. It is the home of Wailele Spring and Ka Uʻi O Mānoa in Mānoa Valley. Stewards of this land since 1908, we are grounded in our commitment to honor this sacred land, ʻāina ʻōiwi.

We celebrate the diverse identities, experiences, and beliefs that enrich our community’s collective experience, which are integral to the education of our students as world-ready learners who lead with empathy and integrity.

We cultivate a place of belonging, where all are respected and valued for our authentic selves, and where joyful connections and collegial bonds deepen.

We strive to ensure that equity and inclusion are woven into the fabric of our school, fostering an environment where creativity and purpose-driven passions can flourish.

We commit to offering equitable opportunities and access, addressing systemic barriers, and providing a robust curriculum of diverse stories and perspectives.

We pledge to build a vibrant community where every voice is cherished, every story is honored, and every individual may thrive.

This work is a living testament to our mission and values, and a common understanding for our entire community.
