Accreditation is a process of intensive formal self-study by the members of the school community with findings validated by an external group of educators who deem that the school has satisfactorily met all standards in areas of mission, educational program, governance, human resources, facilities, operations, and financial sustainability. Mid-Pacific's 2015 Self-Study is the result of a year-long process undertaken by over one hundred representatives from the faculty, staff, administration, parents, alumni, and trustees. Accreditation status -- a period of validation up to seven years -- will be determined by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in conjunction with the Hawaiʻi Association of Independent Schools (HAIS). The complete report is being made available to the Mid-Pacific community on the Mid-Pacific website. We take pride in the efforts and accomplishments of Mid-Pacific since the last accreditation in 2009 and look forward to the many exciting, innovative developments ahead. Our goal is to best serve and support all Mid-Pacific students.
