MPI JV Tennis Program starts its season with two strong wins

The Mid-Pacific Institute JV girls tennis players started their season with a perfect 5-0 sweep of the Kamehameha Warriors, while the JV boys team won their exciting match-up against the Eagles of Hawaii Baptist Academy. JV Head Coach and Director of Tennis, Chanon Alcon, was very pleased with his athletes' performances.

In their season opener, the Mid-Pacific Girl's JV Tennis Team wasted no time earning their first win of the season. Despite a short rain delay, the match was able to resume with the lady Owls sweeping all matches with straight set victories. A late rally by the Warriors in the second set of the 1st doubles match, provided some drama for the spectators, but Hirose and Hirotsu rose to the occasion and clinched the sweep for the Owls.
