Takenaka leads MPI to victory

Devon Takenaka scored a game-high 16 points as Mid-Pacific, which led at halftime by 19, managed to hold off Maryknoll, 49-35, with strong all-around play in the second-half. Maryknoll managed just nine points at the break. Sampson Won and Bryson Beirne chipped in 10 points apiece for Mid-Pacific, which is undefeated in Interscholastic League of Honolulu play. Won connected on a pair of 3-pointers.
