PARENT SATISFACTION SURVEY -- DEADLINE MARCH 10

Aloha!

On behalf of President Rice and our administration, the PCA would like to share a quick update on our Listening Group sessions and the Parent Satisfaction Survey.

1) LISTENING GROUP SESSIONS -- MARCH 3 & MARCH 8

Both sessions held on March 3 went well with great input received from all participants. Parents from all three schools (ES/MS/HS) attended along with strong representation from our alumni partners. The intent of these listening groups is to provide our MPI leadership with input as to the hopes and dreams of the MPI community at large.

Data collected from these sessions will be combined with the data from the listening group session scheduled for MARCH 8 5:30 - 7:00 P.M. @ BAKKEN AUDITORIUM. All MPI parents, alumni and friends of our school are welcome to attend the upcoming session.

RSVP responses are still being accepted. Please e-mail Kristy Tong (Vice-President/Institutional Advancement) ktong@midpac.edu .

Thank you!

2) PARENT SATISFACTION SURVEY -- DEADLINE MARCH 10

A parent satisfaction survey created and customized for MPI by the NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) was recently distributed (via e-mail). Our administration is continually striving to improve our MPI community. Your input is vital and will provide the necessary feedback that will help guide their decision making process.

Won't you take just 15 minutes of your time and help to ensure a better future for all of our children? Please note that the survey deadline is MARCH 10.

A note to drivers who exit at Maile Way: Please drive less aggressively! Of concern are those drivers who turn left onto University Avenue at the corner of Maile Way. Many drivers rush to make a left turn without yielding to oncoming traffic that actually has the right of way. Please drive with caution and courtesy.

Rules of the Road for MPI Drivers

  1. From within the MPI campus, the Maile Way, Armstrong Street and Parker Place gates are one-way, exit only, unless directed by campus security. Under no circumstances should you enter campus through these gates. Once you leave campus, Armstrong Street and Parker Place are public, two-way roads. Vehicles using the Maile Way exit must turn right and proceed to University Ave.
  2. When driving to and from campus, please remember that you are driving through residential neighborhoods. MPI drivers should be respectful of our Manoa neighbors. Please be as quiet as possible, avoid speeding, do not park illegally and yield right of way when it is appropriate.
