The team is poised to have another great season!

The Mid-Pacific Surf Team defeated Kahuku and Iolani on Saturday, Jan. 6., at Maili Point. The team next goes up against Punahou on February 3 at Sandy's Beach. The team is poised to have another great season, according to coaches.

"Maili Point was a well-executed competition for Mid-Pacific's second-year run as a competitive high school surf team," said Assistant Head Coach Seth Elmer. "As a whole, the team pushed the talent bar and competiveness to a higher level, which inspires other schools to push harder too. This is the type of professionalism that Hans and I are looking for to get a stronger result for the national championship later this year. We are very proud of where the team is increasing their competitive edge and skill level. And we are working towards our goals practice-by-practice, competition-by competition. With our collective efforts from staff to parents, to students to coaches, we can see Mid-Pacific leading the way towards another great year."
