Curriculum Snapshot: Co-construction "What makes a quality Homework presentation"
Posted on April 6, 2017 by Scot Allen
In Roy Evans' Math Studies A class students conducted a co-construction that outlined evaluation criteria on what illustrates a quality homework presentation. In Mr. Evans' math class, students are required to provide detailed explanations of solutions to homework problems in front of the class. As a result of the co-construction students identified criteria such as length of presentation, verbal and written clarity, as well as content knowledge that would illustrate a quality presentation. This also provides another opportunity to utilize homework as a formative and summative assessment.
