Mid-Pacific Institute is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a 2014-2016 Apple Distinguished School for its innovative, student-centered curriculum and cutting-edge preschool through grade 12 technology experience.
The Apple Distinguished School designation is reserved for programs that meet criteria for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence, and demonstrate Apple's vision of exemplary learning environments.
The selection of Mid-Pacific Institute as an Apple Distinguished School highlights our success as an innovative and compelling learning environment that engages students and provides tangible evidence of academic accomplishment:
• The One-To-One Education Initiative featuring the iPad.
• Integration of 3D Lidar scanning into the curriculum.
• Development of many apps to augment classroom projects and athletic events.
• The use of the iPod Touch by the preschool.
Mid-Pacific students and teachers have certainly used their iPads in unique and creative ways, both inside and outside of the classroom. We will continue to feature the best projects, ideas and concepts -- brought to life through Apple devices -- on this website as well as in the pages of Mid-Pacific Today.
