Need iPad Help?

If you're having an issue with your iPad, here are a few things to try.

1. Reset the Application

If a specific application is giving you issues, try this to see if it fixes the issue.

  1. Double-click the Home button. A list of apps you've opened since the iPad has been turned on appears along the bottom of the screen.
  2. Find the app that you want to reset by swiping left or right until you find it's icon.
  3. Touch and hold the icon of the app you want to reset.
  4. Release the app icon when it starts to wiggle. Tap the red "-" in the upper-left corner of the app to close the app.
  5. Press the Home button to stop the apps from wiggling.
  6. Relaunch the app you reset to see if fixes your issue.

2. Restarting your iPad

Sometimes restarting the iPad will fix issues you are having.

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
  2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

3. Reset your iPad

Note: Reset your device only if it is no longer responding and the first two steps don't work.

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
