Dear Mid-Pacific Parents and Guardians:

Mahalo for your patience as Mid-Pacific works to address traffic concerns related to the morning drop off time period. We are actively working to find alternative solutions to alleviate traffic congestion in the morning. Our number one priority is the safety and security of you and your children. As we work through these issues, we appreciate your kokua with the following:

  • Please abide by all directions provided by Mid-Pacific Campus Security personnel. These directions are meant for the purpose of keeping the traffic flow moving and ensuring your family's safety and security.

  • Drop-off at the Maile Way exit is prohibited. If this continues to happen, the University of Hawaii will eliminate Mid-Pacific's access to the Maile Way exit. As part of the school's agreement with UH, Mid-Pacific Campus Security personnel are required to give the right of way to all cars traveling on Maile Way first before allowing exiting cars to turn on to Maile Way from Mid-Pacific.

We encourage you to share your feedback regarding traffic on campus. The Mid-Pacific annual traffic survey will be emailed to all families on Sunday, September 24. Each year, we use this information to evaluate traffic flow in and around campus. Your feedback will assist us in taking necessary steps to address traffic concerns. We appreciate your support, patience and understanding.
