From Mid-Pacific to the White House!

Last year's Kite Day added a page to Mid-Pacific's extraordinary history. Mid-Pacific's archivist Koco Connor '79 discovered a letter from President Calvin Coolidge back in 1924. He had written to the students who created and sent him a special kite to commemorate their Kite Day. Fast forward 92 years later, the Mid-Pacific middle and elementary students followed suit and sent their own O-Batman version of a kite to President Obama. We were honored to receive a response!
