Mid-Pacific graduate Kayla Watanabe has been named to the All-Tournament team in Women's Soccer for the Big Sky Conference. Watanabe plays for the Idaho Vandals. She is a 2015 graduate of Mid-Pacific.

Watanabe and her teammates on the Idaho Vandals soccer team fought hard in the conference championship against Northern Colorado on November 8. The Vandals scored in the first half of the game but Northern Colorado came back in the second to tie it up 1-1. The game went into double over time and ended in penalty kicks where the Vandals came up short.

Watanabe had an assist for the first score. The Vandals will return almost everyone except for one senior and are looking forward to next season.
In the semifinal win over Montana on November 6, Watanabe scored that game's first goal and her team went on to win 3-2. The win was Idaho's 14th of the season, tying the program record.
