Parents can set up restrictions on their child's iPad to help them deal with the distractions of games, social media and other apps. However, enabling these restrictions can have the unexpected consequence of interfering with your child's ability to participate in class. Blocking the ability to update or install apps or accessing webpages could potentially stop them from participating during the school day.
While parents are free to turn this feature on, it is good practice to let Mid-Pacific know that you've done so. Please partner with us to keep an up-to-date record of any restriction code that has been enabled on your child's iPad by using the link below.
By letting us know the PIN code used for the restrictions, we can disable the restriction setting for a short period of time. Only the deans and technology staff will have access to the PIN code, and it will never be shared with your child.
If at anytime you update or change the pin, please notify the dean so our records are current.
Please contact Brian Grantham, email@example.com if you have questions or concerns.
