Meet at Bakken Auditorium (with your bags) at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27.

You are responsible for your own lunch on Wednesday. You will not be allowed to purchase lunch at the cafeteria and you will not be allowed to leave campus to purchase lunch.

You will be dismissed on Friday after lunch in the cafeteria (around 1:30 p.m.)

All meals will be provided from Wednesday dinner through and including Friday lunch.

The chaperones and activity leaders are giving of their time and energies to make camp run well - THANK THEM!

You might not enjoy everything - make the best of it and try to enjoy most things! Your attitude will make all the difference!

Be ENTHUSIASTIC! If you are bored, it's your own fault!


THINGS TO BRING

All of your belongings must fit into one small duffel bag or athletic bag (no hard-sided luggage). Make sure that you put a nametag on your bag! Your sleeping gear (sleeping bag or blanket and sheet, and a pillow) should be carried in a large trash bag also labeled with your name.


  • Toilet articles - toothbrush, toothpaste, comb/brush, shampoo, soap, shaving articles, deodorant, contact lens supplies, sunscreen, medication, hygiene products, etc.

  • Sleeping bag or blanket and sheet, pillow

  • Clothing - for two nights and three days (including jacket/sweatshirt, and swimsuit).

  • Optional - something else to tie-dye. You'll be given a white T-shirt but if you want to bring a pair of socks or a pillow case or another shirt, you may. As long as we have dye, you may use it.

  • Towels - for bathing and swimming.

  • Plastic bags - for dirty laundry and/or wet clothing.

  • Sneakers/comfortable shoes and rubber slippers (for showering).

  • Flashlight - for crab hunt and campfire.

  • Insect repellant

  • Snacks - We will provide snacks and veggies/fruits throughout the day. If you choose to bring your own snacks, be aware that Camp Erdman rules prohibit chewing gum and Chinese seeds.

  • We encourage you to bring musical instruments (ukuleles, guitars, etc.) for campfire and free time.

Do NOT bring coolers, beach chairs, jewelry, large amounts of money and/or other valuables, etc. CELL PHONES may only be used during the hours of 11 p.m.-midnight. If a student is using his/her phone at any other time, their phone will be confiscated.
