The 11th and 12th grade students of the 2015-2016 Museum Studies course at Mid-Pacific Institute used an Artec light scanner to digitally preserve a US Naval aviator flight helmet with radio receivers from air crewman George Bertok aboard the USS Arizona at Valor In The Pacific's Pearl Harbor archives. The National Park Service plans to use the students' scan file in a virtual-museum app currently being developed.
