Eleven students represented MPI at the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair held at the Hawaii Convention Center.
In addition to being interviewed by numerous judges, the students were also treated to an inspirational talk from U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye. This year there were more than 280 Junior Research projects in the fair. To get to the state fair students were first selected from the MPI school fair. They were part of a group of 24 MPI students that competed in the HAIS District Fair in February, where they were chosen to move on the state fair. We wish to congratulate our 6th and 8th graders for their hard work and accomplishments.
