The Middle School students hosted fourteen Korean students on Tuesday through the Center for Asia-Pacific Exchange (CAPE) program.
Jai-Ho Yoo, president of CAPE, made the arrangements with our middle school administration for the students to shadow our Mid-Pacific eighth graders. The Korean students were here for a 10 day visit to learn about the Hawaii and to participate in various cultural exchanges.

The goal of the day at Mid-Pacific was for the Korean students to experience life as a middle schooler in Hawaii, and to learn about the school from their hosts.

While language was a challenge, it didn’t take long for universal communications of smiles and the guidance of a kind hand. Thank you to all of our students for being such outstanding ambassadors for our school!
