MPI middle school students love the Africa-Inspired computer game by Tom Snyder
Productions. Here are some photos of Kathleen Perreira's students working on their
safari scavenger hunt. The goal of the activity is to "travel" throughout Africa collecting
resources and visiting countries with specific geographic characteristics.

Working in teams, students interpret maps, share key information and plan strategies. They learn about and appreciate the diverse resources and
geography of Africa.
