SENIOR LUAU:
Our last senior social event is the Senior Luau on Sunday, May 18th at 5:00 in our very own Scudder Dining Hall. This will be the very last time that our seniors will be together before graduation to spend quality time and reminiscence about their high school experiences. The attire is Hawaiian Attire and the cost of the dinner is $20.00. We will be selling tickets to the Luau on Tuesday, 5/6 and Wednesday, 5/7 in front of Bakken Auditorium during both lunches. We hope for 100% attendance.

SENIOR HOODIES:
We are offering Senior Hoodies to interested seniors. The order forms were given to your child's homeroom teacher. The cost is $10.00

With approximately three (3) weeks left in the school year, we are in the home stretch and the official countdown is on: 15 days and counting down.

Again, please encourage your child to remain focused on the prize and strive for excellence in their academic studies AND in complying with all school rules & policies.

]]> Seniors received their Baccalaureate/Graduation information and their song practice schedule during our recent class meeting. Song practice is mandatory for all students; therefore, please refrain from scheduling doctor appointments or work hours during song practice days. The number of graduation seating tickets will depend on the number of practices your child attends. For more information about Baccalaureate or Graduation, please contact Bill Wheeler at 973-5083.

Saturday School for the 4th quarter is set for April 26, May 10 & May 17. Sign up is required in Damon Hall.

We have approximately four (4) more weeks of school left (4th quarter ends on May 20) and it is important that the Seniors end the school year on a strong note, academically & behaviorally. Remember that colleges will require a final transcript at the end of the school year and will expect the student to maintain a high standard of excellence. Please continue to monitor EDLINE and encourage your child to be exemplary role models by following all school rules & policies.

This is an exciting and emotional time for our Seniors as they begin to sense the end of their high school career and look toward the beginning of their college endeavors. We are very proud of their accomplishments.

1) Ron McNichols, the rep. for Jostens, will return on campus on Thursday, November 8th to collect order forms for cap/gown and other graduation merchandise. Seniors will be able to submit their order forms during 2nd homeroom.

2) The Hawaii College & Career Fair is scheduled on Thursday, November 8 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at NBC. For more information, you may check their website at www.hawaiiccfair.org or call the College Office at 973-5046.

3) Please notify me at minimum 2 weeks advanced notice if you are planning a trip to visit colleges on the mainland so that we can notify your child's teachers in a timely manner. Also, an "Absence from School" form is required prior to leaving.

4) The eligibility requirements to obtain a 2nd Semester Off-Campus pass will be as follows:
1) Minimum 2nd Quarter GPA of 2.5; 2) No D or F grades; 3) Minimum 2nd Quarter B+ Citizenship Grade.

5) Upcoming holidays and vacations (No School): 11/12 Veterans Day; 11/22-23 Thanksgiving Vacation.
