It's been a wet week here in Manu-O-Ku 13, but the fun still goes on. This week students spent much of their time assembling their portfolios and reflecting on their learning throughout the semester.
After discussing the different traits from the Learner Profile, students began to look back at their work and chose various pieces that they are particularly proud of. They then spent some time reflecting on those pieces of work and selecting which trait that artifact demonstrates. They documented their thoughts using writing or audio recordings.

Stars and Stairs
After artifacts were gathered, students took some time to reflect on the areas in which they shine bright (stars) and those areas in which they would like to further improve (stairs). They talked about the specifics of what made something a star as well as the steps they will need to climb in order to improve their stairs. Students will share their thoughts at the upcoming conferences next week.
