My name is Danielle Hipol, a teacher candidate from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I will be in your child's classroom on Wednesdays and Thursdays to assist and learn teaching techniques from Ms. Holzman. While in the classroom, I will be making observations and conducting lessons for my courses in the UH Mānoa's College of Education.
This is my first time as a teacher candidate in an elementary school setting, however, I have experience working with children in a preschool setting. I have recently graduated from Honolulu Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with a preschool focus. I hope to use my background knowledge as well as the knowledge that I will soon learn to assist your child in his/her studies.
I enjoyed my time with your child this past week. I am looking forward to getting to know the children and yourselves more as I continue my learning journey at Mid-Pacific this fall semester.
Mahalo Nui Loa!
