- Weinberg Seminar room: Monday, October 23, Deputy Prosecutor, Spencer Jim On will visit with us 2:45 to 3:30pm - Topic "How to examine witnesses during trial- cross and direct exam. All are welcome!

MPSA Theatre Department opens SISTER ACT, THE MUSICAL this week. All Thursdays at 4pm are free for all Mid-Pacific students, faculty and staff. Free snacks at intermission. Please wait on the first floor at the box-office until Ms. Johnson lets you know that the theatre is open. Performances are from October 19 through November 5, Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Call box office for reservations at 973-5066 or purchase tickets at the box office one half hour before performance time. The show runs two hours and ten minutes with intermission. The show is filled with hip music, lots of dance and great comedy. You don't want to miss it!

All MS Students
Report to your class meeting on Friday, October 20 at 7:30am (6th in Wood Hall, 7th in Mills Gym, 8th in Bakken Auditorium).

Middle School Art Club meetings in room P1 on Tuesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 26 during lunch (bring home lunch) to complete ceramic pumpkins and rocks.

The ever-popular MS AUW Bake Sale gets under way on October 30 and runs until November 3 every day during lunch on Hala Terrace. Please bring home-made goodies on your homeroom's day and support Aloha United Way. See your teacher for more details.

Boys Intermediate Division I & II Basketball Try-Outs continue TODAY, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 pm in Mills Gymnasium. All current 7th-9th graders are required to attend try-outs.

*Please wear and bring the proper basketball attire. Basketball shirt/jersey, shorts, shoes - NO KHAKI SHORTS, OR RUNNING SHOES.
*Updated Requirements - ImPact Baseline Test (Concussion Protocol), Updated Physical Examination. Please check if these items are completed with Mike Miyashiro if you are unsure (mmiyashiro@midpac.edu).
* It is very important that you contact me ASAP if you are unable to make the try-out dates due to legitimate reasons (school function, playing another school sport, important family matter) so I can let the Intermediate coaches know.

College Counseling

Students and families are invited to attend the 2017 Christian College Fair on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Hawaii Baptist Academy, Stan Sagert Campus (Dan Liu Gymnasium) from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.

University of Oregon Fall 2017 Honolulu Reception will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 11:00am-12:00/12:30pm at the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum (1525 Bernice Street). Oregon Receptions typically last from an hour to 90 minutes. Light refreshments are served, and dress is casual. College Visits

We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) connection.naviance.com/midpac (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please stop by the College Counseling Office.
