Yep, It's New Bell Tone Time! What tone do YOU want to hear at the start of every day? While licensed songs cannot be played in a public capacity, your original musical composition can be! Play and record the musical composition you'd like to hear at the start of every school day. The "start of class" tone should be no more than 10 seconds in duration. Tutorial and Peer Tutoring Program
Do you need help or have a few questions about a class? Here are multiple ways that you can receive assistance.
1) Ask your teacher about attending tutorial during one of these sessions:

  • Mondays 2:45-3:30pm
  • Tuesdays 7:35-8:10am
  • Thursdays 7:35-8:10am
  • Fridays 2:30-3:30pm

2) Come to the Peer Tutoring Walk-in Sessions in the College Counseling Office (Damon Hall, Ground Floor)

  • Tuesdays, 3:15-345pm
  • Wednesdays, 7:30-8:00am, 2:40-3:10pm
  • Thursdays, 3:15-3:45pm
  • Fridays, 7:30-8:00am

3) If you have gone to tutorial and the peer tutoring walk-in sessions and you still need individual assistance, please see your dean about the possibilities of a 1-on-1 peer tutor.

MPSA Theatre Department opens SISTER ACT, THE MUSICAL this week. All Thursdays at 4pm are free for all Mid-Pacific students, faculty and staff. Free snacks at intermission. Please wait on the first floor at the box-office until Ms. Johnson lets you know that the theatre is open. Performances are from October 19 through November 5, Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Call box office for reservations at 973-5066 or purchase tickets at the box office one half hour before performance time. The show runs two hours and ten minutes with intermission. The show is filled with hip music, lots of dance and great comedy. You don't want to miss it!

Middle School Service Club Meeting

All MS Students
Report to your class meeting on Friday, October 20 at 7:30am (6th in Wood Hall, 7th in Mills Gym, 8th in Bakken Auditorium).

Middle School Art Club meetings in room P1 on Tuesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 26 during lunch (bring home lunch) to complete ceramic pumpkins and rocks.

The ever-popular MS AUW Bake Sale gets under way on October 30 and runs until November 3 every day during lunch on Hala Terrace. Please bring home-made goodies on your homeroom's day and support Aloha United Way. See your teacher for more details.


College Counseling

Summer Program - Sophomores & Juniors
The Yale Young Global Scholars Program offers seven unique interdisciplinary sessions over the course of the summer. Current high school sophomores and juniors are elligible to apply. College Visits

We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) connection.naviance.com/midpac (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please stop by the College Counseling Office.
