WINTER BREAK DRIVER EDUCATION CLASS:
December 26-30 (Tuesday to Saturday) from 8am to 2:30pm, $260. This class fulfills the 30-hour classroom instruction required by the State of Hawaii for anyone under 18 years of age prior to obtaining their driver's license.

Bellhops "Movig Forward" Scholarship

Wendy's High School Heisman
Deadline: October 2, 2017. Must be a student-athlete who participates in at least one high school sport, demonstrates leadership, and participates in community service. Go to: wendysheisman.com to learn more.
The Gromet Foundation Scholarship
Deadline: October 28, 2017. This is for low-income students who excel academically (3.8 plus gpa). Income criteria: family income of 150% or less of federal poverty level guidelines. See www.familiesusa.org for federal guidelines to see if you qualify. Contact Ms. Song Stubenberg at 382-1456 or Doris Wong at 636-5851 for more information. Must include SAT/ACT scores, High School transcript, and last year's 1040 federal tax return, plus 2 letters of recommendation and an essay. Application is available in the College Counseling Office.
Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship
Deadline: October 30, 2017. Applicants must be high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 unweighted, cumulative grade point average, who are US citizens or permanent US residents. Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation Scholarship
Deadline: December 1, 2017. This is for water sports athletes or volleyball players only. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 gpa, and intend to compete in college athletics, and be active in community service. For more information, go to: www.dukefoundation.org.
Ambassador of Aloha Scholarship
Deadline: December 1, 2017. This is for watersports athletes only and Mid-Pacific may nominate only ONE candidate. Applications will be submitted to Mrs. McKay-Hines in the College Center no later than November 1, 2017. A committee will select the applicant who best meets the following criteria: Minimum 3.0 gpa and a written essay explaining why the applicant should be the school's nominee. Applicants must demonstrate academic success, leadership, athletic excellence, service to school/community, and must have a "Hawaiian Heart" and demonstrate Aloha.
We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) connection.naviance.com/midpac (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend.
