General

The MPSA High School Vocal Ensemble is presenting their Spring Concert on May 12, and 13. Friday and Saturday performances are at 5:30pm with tickets available for Friends and Family. There are 150 seats available for each performance and we hope to fill them with music lovers. This year's concert features the Middle School Vocal Ensemble and songs from Broadway Musicals such as Les Miserable, Grease, and Chorus Line to name a few. If you are interested in attending on Friday or Saturday, please see one of the Vocal Ensemble students for a complimentary ticket. We would love to see you all there!


High School

Saturday School will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017. There will be two sessions:

  1. 10:00am-12:00pm
  2. 1:00 pm-3:00pm.

Sign up at Damon Hall in person to attend.

Yearbooks
will be distributed to the high school immediately after the school day on Tuesday May 16th. Come to the Watase courtyard and bring your school id. Your year book has been paid for, but you can bring cash for book cover and treats sold by the Red Cross Club.


Middle School

Color Me Happy Club meeting Monday, May 15 during lunch. Bring your lunch and iPad to Wood Hall and meet in the DaVinci Studio. This will be our last club meeting for the year.

Yearbooks will be distributed to 7th and 8th graders immediately after the school day on Wednesday, May 17th. Come to the Watase courtyard and bring your school ID. If you would like to buy a book cover or a treat at the Red Cross Club's bake sale, please bring extra cash. 6th grade yearbooks will be distributed in class.

Honolulu Community College Summer STEM 2017 Program - ICT Academy Python Summer Camp
(June 13 - July 21) gives students an in-depth introduction to programming using Python. Students will develop fundamentals of programming using input, output, selection statements and repetition statements. Tuition fee: $165. Deadline to apply: May 25. Honolulu Community College Summer STEM 2017 Program - The GenCyber Hawaii Program (June 5-9) is FREE for students and teachers K-12. The goals of the program are to help all students understand correct and safe on-line behavior, increase diversity and interest in cybersecurity and careers in the cybersecurity workforce of the Nation, and improve teaching methods for delivering cybersecurity content in K-12 computer science curricula. Honolulu Community College Summer STEM 2017 Program - Summer Engineering Academy (June 13-21) is a FREE program that provides participants with an opportunity to learn about the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Programming, and Architecture. University of Hawaii at Mānoa Family Education Training Center of Hawaii (FETCH), is a University of Hawaii-based affiliated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering a Summer Advantage Program (June 20-July 13) for middle and high school students. Students will learn about organic farming, cooking with fresh produce, and garden-based carpentry at the Energy House on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus. Fee: $80 per student, 16 sessions. California State University Maritime Academy's Training Ship
GOLDEN BEAR will be stopping in Hawaii (June 2 & 3) during this summer's training cruise.
