Mid-Pacific School of the Arts (MPSA) is proud to present the Hawai'i premiere of Pierre Corneille's The Illusion, freely adapted by Tony Kushner, Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning playwright of Angels in America. The production is directed by award-winning actor and MPSA Theatre teacher Alex Monti Fox, and will run at Mid-Pacific's Kawaiaha'o Recital Hall from April 28th to May 7th, 2017. Featuring an incredible cast of MPSA Theatre/Film Certificate program student-actors, The Illusion charms audiences of all ages with humor, song and dance in this action-packed tale.

Please join us for a wonderful musical journey as the Instrumental Music Program presents their Spring Concert. The following groups will perform a variety of music for your enjoyment and entertainment: Beginning Orchestra, Intermediate Orchestra, Advanced Orchestra, Jazz Band, Beginning Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and various combined groups. Attention all students in grades 8-11
There will be a meeting on Monday, May 1 at 3:00pm in K207 for all students interested in auditioning for SISTER ACT, the fall HS musical for next school year. This meeting is to inform you about the audition requirements. Also, at 3:30-5pm we will have a film party (bring snacks) watching SISTER ACT, The Movie. Thursday, April 27, is Poem in your Pocket Day!
On Poem in Your Pocket Day we celebrate by carrying a poem and sharing it with others throughout the day. At lunch time TODAY, April 27, third and fourth grade students from the elementary will be handing out poems so you can celebrate Poem in your Pocket Day too! They are very excited, please show your appreciation and support for their learning.
The annual Aloha program recognizes the Senior Class and departing faculty/staff with a program that features a variety of talents from students in grades 6 - 12. This year's program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19th in Bakken Auditorium. All boys 6th-11th grade who want to be a part of boys basketball this summer, there will be a meeting this Friday (April 28) at 3:00pm in Room 21 of the gym. Try-outs will take place from Monday, May 15 - Wednesday, May 17.
