General

BYOD Christmas Photo Booth!
Stop by the library any morning next week (Dec. 5-9) for a Christmas photo op. We've got the props, you bring the camera and smiles!

All are invited to the Peer Mediation Holiday Peace Bazaar on Friday, December 2 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm in the Watase courtyard. Proceeds from the sale of baked goods, drinks, clothing, jewelry, and candy-cane-grams will be donated to the Waikiki Health Center's Youth Outreach program.


High School

Globetrotters: There will be a meeting for all members on Friday, December 2, in AGR-2 after school at 2:30p.m. to discuss and sign up for the upcoming community service project for the JCCH Ohana Festival in January. See you there!

Trendy Art Club monthly meeting will be this Friday, December 2 in H3 (Hopwood Quad) from 2:30pm-3:30pm. We will be participating in CS Education Week's Hour of Code and making a simple video game!

Japanese Club:

We have a meeting this Friday, December 2nd at 3:05pm in K302. We will be discussing up coming school service and community service.

Baking and Cooking Club:
We will be doing our Holiday Gingerbread House Decorating on Friday, December 2nd at 3:05pm in H231. Please sign up with Ms. Nishiguchi in the Weinberg Tech Plaza by TODAY. See you soon.

Saturday School will be held this Saturday, December 3 from 10:00am-12:00pm AND 1:00-3:00pm for students wishing to work off demerits. Please sign-up for only ONE session (either 10am OR 1pm). Sign-up sheet is available at Damon Hall Front Desk, until space is filled.

High School Students:
Study prep for your upcoming finals leaving you feeling overwhelmed? Come join us in the library to chat about ways to maximize the return you get on your study time. 4 sessions to choose from:

  • Thursday (12/1) 7:30-8:00AM
  • Friday (12/2) 7:30-8:00AM
  • Monday (12/5) 2:45-3:15PM
  • Tuesday (12/6) 3:15-3:45PM

All of the sessions will take place in the Library Lab. Sessions will focus on study skills rather than specific content that will be covered in course exams.

WINTER BREAK DRIVER EDUCATION CLASS:
December 19 to 23 from 8am to 2:30pm $260. This class fulfills the 30-hour classroom instruction required by the State of Hawaii for anyone under 18 years of age prior to obtaining their driver's license.

on Monday, December 5 during lunch. Bring your lunch and iPad to Wood Hall and meet in the DaVinci Studio.

Art Club members: Please notify Mrs. Ikeda or Mrs. Kaneko by Friday, December 2 your attendance to the lunch meeting activity on Tuesday, December 6. Supplies will be provided.

Kindness and Service Club
A reminder that we will be meeting on Monday, December 5 during lunch in room B-5. Please get your lunches quickly so we can finish our Holiday cards for the Meals on Wheels program.


College Counseling

Fashion Industry of Design and Merchandising, CA (FIDM) Immersive Summer Program at four locations in California in June 2017. Experience fashion through the eyes of a college student for 3 non-stop days of fashion, fun, and learning.
