Interested in Making a Difference for Hawaii's Energy Future?
The Student Energy Summit is happening on Mid-Pacific's campus Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. There will be over 200 Middle and High school students from around the state learning about Hawaii's energy challenges and developing solutions for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly tomorrow. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Summer 2017 online registration opens 11/1/16. The summer precollege discovery programs are located at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's campus in Prescott, Arizona. They have 6-day programs for high school students ages 14-18 who are interested in Flight, STEM, and Global Security. They also offer a 3-day introduction to flight program for middle school students, ages 12-15. High School

FINAL DAY: AUDITIONS for the MPSA Theatre production of Mary Zimmerman's "Argonautika" directed by Mr. Wat will be held TODAY, Tuesday, November 1 in K207 from 3:30-5:30 pm. Performance dates are February 2-12. Auditioners should dress for movement and be prepared to stay for the whole period. Auditions will consist of exercises and some cold reading. No advance preparation is necessary. Scripts are available for perusal from Mr. Wat.

Duke University is offering two summer sessions: 1) Duke Summer College for High School Students (for students currently in grades 10 & 11); and 2) Duke Summer Academy for High School Students (for students currently in grades 9-12). Washington University in St. Louis' Summer Pre-College Programs 2017 for rising juniors and seniors: Are you passionate about art or architecture? Have you considered a career as an architect, artist or designer? This pre-college program give students the opportunity to develop skills that are fundamental to these fields while producing work in a real studio under he guidance of WUSTL faculty. A big THANK YOU to the entire Middle School - students, faculty, and staff, for your generous support during our 2016 AUW Week. We raised a total of $4,103 in one week to help others in community. Totally AUWsome!!!

College Visits

We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) connection.naviance.com/midpac (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please stop by the College Counseling Office.
