Monday, November 7 is a Friday Schedule for High School only.


The MPSA High School musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, has opened and will run through November 6. Show times are as follows:

  • Thursdays at 4:00pm - Free admission and refreshments for Mid-Pacific students and employees
  • Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
  • Sundays at 2:00pm

Performances on Friday-Sunday cost $3.00 for all Mid-Pacific students. See posters for further information. This show is hilarious so come and laugh with us!

Broadway is coming to Mid-Pacific! Shoshana Bean is back in Honolulu and will be doing a one night only concert this Saturday, November 5th at our very own Bakken Auditorium. Join us for a night of music magic featuring some of Shoshana's favorite tunes including hits from Broadway and some of her own original work. The night will also feature some of Hawaii's top up-and-coming local artists Izik and American Idol's DeAndre!

Globetrotters: There will be a meeting TODAY, November 4 at 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. in AGR-2 to discuss the Diamond Head Hike planned for Sunday, November 6th. Please turn in Parent Notification forms and the $1.00 entry fee. See you there!

Students, are you interested in discussing and learning more about the social injustices in our country today? Would you be interested in taking a class or joining a club that dives deeply into these topics? If yes, please join our student focus group in room A102. We will develop a class and a club dedicated to the analysis of diversity and social justice, with an emphasis on becoming activists. We want to design this potential class and club around the students' desires and interests; we need your feedback! Peer Tutors Needed!
Peer tutoring is a great opportunity for students to contribute to our school community by helping their fellow classmates. Tutors help by sharing their understanding of a specific subject/course with their peers in a positive and encouraging environment. There are many benefits to being a peer tutor, including making a difference in someone's life and being able to share about this experience on your college application!

Middle School

Color Me Happy Meeting on Monday, November 7 during lunch. Bring your lunch and iPad to Wood Hall and meet in the DaVinci Studio.

Kindness and Service Club: There will be a club meeting on Monday, November 7 during lunch in Room B-5. We will be making our signs for World Kindness Day sign waving so please be prompt.

Middle School Math Club Meeting Monday, November 7 at 2:30-3:00pm in room A-208.


Precision Riflery
New student-athletes, who are interested in joining the precision riflery team, must come to mandatory safety training sessions on Monday, November 7 and Tuesday, November 8 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This must be completed before moving forward with any other practices. Please contact Coach Jon Narimatsu at if there are any questions.

College Visits

We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please stop by the College Counseling Office.
